Sydney Sundancer

Lynne & John’s concept for the ideal charter vessel was to combine the comfort & stability of a motor boat with the grace and serenity of a sailing yacht, so Sydney Sundancer is a combination of the best features of both. They engaged a naval architect to transform their ideas into a ship with a huge deck area that is just made for the perfect Sydney Harbour yacht charter experience. In fact, the deck is so large that Sydney Sundancer is licensed to carry more than 70 guests (plus crew), however, Lynne and John prefer to limit the number of guests to around 50, so that everyone’s personal comfort is ensured through adequate space. If the weather happens to turn on you, the full canopy and enclosable aft deck keeps the party going, in comfort and in style.

Under Lynne & John’s supervision Sydney Sundancer was built to the highest international standards of luxury yachting, and has been likened by guests to a floating, private hotel. Sumptuous interior furnishings and beautiful teak woodwork are reminiscent of a bygone era not usually found on modern production vessels.

The Yacht

The yacht was constructed in steel, for world cruising, having water-tight doors and collision bulkheads. She weighs 37 tons,  and is therefore incredibly stable, even in choppy conditions.  It has roller furler sails and guests are encouraged to get involved with the sailing if they desire.  There is an amazingly large wide deck to laze away the days. The  aft deck has plenty of room for up to 10 people to settle back, enjoy the technicolour sunsets and delicious lunches and dinners. For larger groups, choose a buffet style lunch or dinner, or finger food from our numerous menus.

  • We have a private mooring facility in one of Sydney’s most exclusive bays, where there is a beautiful white sandy beach within easy swimming distance. This bay provides exceptional protection from the weather from most directions, so we guarantee it is THE best location to be in most weather conditions.

Below Deck the …the boat boasts two Staterooms and two bathrooms, plus a saloon area which can adapt to comfortably seat 12 guests. Should you wish to have an overnight stay you can be extremely comfortable in one of our two Staterooms.
